Notes

Travel with the evidence in view — not a star rating.

These are working notes, not medical advice, and not a claim that SenzaFind already covers every city. The product is being built around this way of looking.

Direct answer

In a new city, the useful question is not “is this pin safe?” It is: what is documented about the offering, what is only reported, and what still needs a question at the counter. SenzaFind encodes that as ONLY, ALSO, and ASK. Always verify current options and preparation with the venue.

1. Name what you need, in the language of the counter

Celiac disease and a gluten-free preference are different sentences. If you need language, use a show-to-staff phrase. It is a question, not a certificate, and not proof the kitchen is safe.

2. Separate the offering from the vibe

A documented dedicated gluten-free operation is a different object from a mixed kitchen with marked options. Read ONLY, ALSO, ASK before you trust a pin that only says “gluten free.”

3. Ask, then watch

ASK exists so that “you may need to ask” is visible — for example a hotel breakfast. It is not “probably fine.” If staff cannot talk about current preparation, that is information. You still decide.

4. Plan movement, not only dinner

Hunger happens between sights, in stations, and at 7:30 near a hotel. Shops, hotels, and en-route stops matter as much as restaurants. That is why SenzaFind is not being built as a restaurant-only directory.

5. Ignore the number

Other diners’ stars are not a fact about wheat flour in the fryer. A crowd score is not a gluten-free verdict.

ONLY, ALSO, and ASK classify the offering — documented dedicated gluten-free, documented gluten-free options alongside gluten, or evidence that you may need to ask. They are not a safety score, not a certification, and not a substitute for verifying current options and preparation with the venue. Places without enough evidence are not listed.

SenzaFind is a discovery tool. It does not certify venues, diagnose conditions, or guarantee that any place is safe for celiac disease or gluten-free eating. Always verify current options and preparation with the venue.
