FAQ as plain text
What is SenzaFind?
SenzaFind is an evidence-first discovery product for people who need gluten-free options while travelling or living somewhere unfamiliar. It covers meals, shops, hotels, and stops en route. It shows what is documented or reported, how recent that information is, and when to verify with the venue. It does not certify safety.
Is SenzaFind a safety score or a medical app?
No. SenzaFind is not a medical app, diagnostic, diet tracker, or safety certification. Community notes are dated observations, not a gluten-free verdict. The product does not certify venues and does not guarantee that any place is safe for celiac disease or gluten-free eating.
What do ONLY, ALSO, and ASK mean?
ONLY means a documented dedicated gluten-free operation. ALSO means regular gluten plus documented gluten-free options. ASK means there is evidence that gluten-free may be available if you ask — for example a hotel breakfast. These labels describe the offering, not a medical verdict. Places without enough evidence stay off the public board; they are not relabelled ASK.
Who is SenzaFind for?
Adults who need gluten-free / celiac-aware options while travelling or living somewhere unfamiliar. They want independence, specificity, and candor — not recipes, inspiration, or medical advice. It is not built as a certification authority, a social network, or a restaurant booking engine.
Where will SenzaFind be available?
City by city, as the evidence is ready. Tell us a city or trip on the waitlist — that is a signal for order, not a coverage announcement. We do not claim worldwide coverage today, and this waitlist does not promise a launch week.
Is the app available to download?
Not yet. This site is a waitlist so we can email you when SenzaFind is ready to try. There is no App Store or Play listing to point to today.
What is the show-to-staff card?
A local-language phrase you can show at the table — a question, not proof the kitchen is safe. This site generates the card in 22 languages and lets you download a PNG or PDF to keep offline, with no signal required. It is a translation aid, not a medical certificate.
Will SenzaFind use AI?
Ask Senza is a later intelligence module over the same evidence. It is not a fake AI homepage, and it will never be framed as a way to pay for safer information. Core discovery — search, map, classification, facts, menus, notes, save, directions, contribution, and basic Show to Staff — is designed to stay unpaywalled.
Are community notes the same as reviews?
No. Notes are short, dated observations. They are not star ratings used as a gluten-free verdict, and social activity is not gluten-free proof.
Does SenzaFind tell me a restaurant is safe for celiac disease?
No. SenzaFind does not declare a place safe or unsafe. Always verify current options and preparation with the venue. Follow your own clinician’s guidance.
How is SenzaFind different from Google Maps or a generic gluten-free list?
Generic search leaves you reconstructing gluten-free reality from menus, blogs, photos, and conflicting comments. SenzaFind is being built to show what is documented, what is reported, and what still needs a question at the counter — across food, shops, hotels, and en-route stops — with ONLY / ALSO / ASK instead of a crowd score.
Will it include places that also serve gluten?
Yes. ALSO exists because documented gluten-free options often sit in mixed kitchens. ASK exists when there is evidence you may need to ask. Hiding mixed places would erase most of a city. The label tells you what kind of offering it is so you can choose.
Is it free?
The waitlist is free. Core discovery is designed to stay usable without a paywall. Later convenience — Ask Senza, offline packs, Smart Trip — if it is ever paid, will be framed as intelligence and convenience while travelling, never as safer information.
How do I get notified?
Leave an email, and optionally a city or trip you care about. We’ll email when SenzaFind is ready to try. No spam, no medical advice, no promise of a launch week.
SenzaFind is a discovery tool. It does not certify venues, diagnose conditions, or guarantee that any place is safe for celiac disease or gluten-free eating. Always verify current options and preparation with the venue.
